We have been in the resin business for many years.

It all started in 1937 with the Plaskon Company that ran until 1942.

Fusions, acquisitions and name changes ensued. Libbey-Owens-Ford Glass Co. took over for 9 years, and then transferred to Allied Chemical and Dye Corp between 1953-1968. The name changed to Raymond Chemical Co for the following 10 years, with BTL Specialty Resin Corp running for another 23. Tembec took over in 2003 and has been running the company until we became LRBG Chemicals in 2018.

Our Longueuil facility has been in operation since 1987 under various ownership entities including Bokem, ARC, Tembec and Rayonier AM. In 2018, the company name and ownership changed to LRBG Chemicals IncNotwithstanding the many name changes, our experienced management team has remained consistent and steady.
