We have been in the resin business for many years.

It all started in 1937 with the Plaskon Company that ran until 1942.

Fusions, acquisitions and name changes ensued. Libbey-Owens-Ford Glass Co. took over for 9 years, and then transferred to Allied Chemical and Dye Corp between 1953-1968. The name changed to Raymond Chemical Co for the following 10 years, with BTL Specialty Resin Corp running for another 23. Tembec took over in 2003 and has been running the company until we became LRBG Chemicals in 2017.

Our Longueuil facility has been in operation since 1987. In 2018, the company name was changed to LRBG Chemicals Inc. Regardless of many name changes, our management team has remained consistent and steady. In fact, LRBG is an acronym for the long-standing senior management’s family names.

Today, our 2 locations in Toledo, Ohio and Longueuil, Quebec are strategically located to conveniently serve our customers.
